Whether your laptop screen is cracked, defective or just not getting power, it doesn't mean it's the end of the road for this machine. Accidents happen all the time and screens can always be replaced at a fraction of the cost of a new laptop.
Lost files, an inaccessible drive or a computer that no longer starts do not necessarily mean your data is gone. I can assess hard drives and SSDs and, where the device remains readable, attempt to recover documents, photographs and other important files. You can easily buy a computer off the shelf at one of the big stores but if you have a particular use in mind, such as gaming or use of CAD, then you may be best building or upgrading your computer to the exact specifications you need.
